UNMCE Student Data not Affected by Heartbleed Vulnerability
You have probably heard about the Heartbleed Web Security Hole that is causing lots of anxiety for internet users. We would like to put your mind at ease and let you know that our Registration Site is not affected by the bug. Here is a more in-depth explanation made by our registration vendor:
By now many of you will have heard of the Heartbleed bug, the latest security vulnerability to be found, which has affected a very large number of websites worldwide. The issue affects something called OpenSSL, which you can read about in any news web site today. I wish to assure you that Augusoft does not use OpenSSL in securing your Lumens website, therefore the vulnerabilities identified do not apply to Lumens.
