UNM Extended Learning Marketing Team Members Win National Awards
UNM Extended Learning’s Marketing department achieved national recognition from the University Professional & Continuing Education Association (UPCEA), earning Gold, Silver and Bronze Marketing Awards at UPCEA’s 23rd Annual Marketing & Enrollment Management Seminar held recently in Atlanta, Georgia.
248 entries were submitted in 27 categories from 65 member institutions.
The Marketing Awards received were:
Gold – Print Publications, Postcard
“Count Me In” Postcard for the Substance Abuse Studies Program, developed as infographic to convey essential information in numbers.
Recognized: Sarah Scott, designer; in collaboration with Loree Nalin, Program Supervisor, Health & Wellness Professions.
Gold – Most Improved, Brochure
“Count Me In” Brochure, for the Substance Abuse Studies Program, direct-mail followup to the postcard; developed as infographic to understandably convey very complex information about the Certificate Program at Continuing Education.

Silver – Print Advertising, Ad Campaign
“Tradiciones” Ad Campaign for the Taos News
Recognized: Sharon Steely, designer; writing and research in collaboration with Mary Lutz, Operations Manager, UNM Taos Bachelor & Graduate Programs; Ian Sinon, photographer, and Kim Jarigese, Marketing Manager.
Silver – Print Publications, Poster
“Summer Class Infographic” developed to explain why summer classes were the smartest thing a student could do.

Bronze – Print Advertising, Single Ad
