Participants Needed for “Life In New Mexico” Media Project
The New Mexico Film Foundation, in partnership with the New Mexico Post Alliance and the New Mexico Tourism Department, is asking for submissions from New Mexico residents for a media project entitled “Life in New Mexico”.
“The purpose of this project is to bring attention to the post production process that is part of the New Mexico film industry, and to highlight the New Mexico men and women who work in this area of filmmaking,” said Dirk Norris, executive director of the New Mexico Film Foundation. “We are very excited to be working closely with the New Mexico Tourism Department this year.”
New Mexico residents can submit video clips up to three minutes in length about what life in the Land of Enchantment means to them. All types of video will be accepted, so use your creativity to express your feelings for New Mexico (so long as they meet content requirements.) Once submitted, the accepted videos will be given to professional New Mexico based post-production companies and will be edited and compiled. In addition to the expert production artists, New Mexico based music composers will be invited to take part in the creation of sound tracks.
Video submissions for the “Life in New Mexico” media project will be accepted through October 30, 2015. To see all rules, guidelines, and suggestions, visit http://www.nmfilmfoundation.org/life-in-new-mexico-media-project.
We can’t wait to see the finished project!
